"Our common goal today at Ag2r-Citröen was to relaunch our Tour de France. Day one was devastating for the team, as seven of the guys crashed. We knew that, Brittany being Brittany, with small roads and rain, the break had a slight chance of succeeding today. After eleven participations in the Tour de France, I know these first days of race by heart. It is not nice to see that many crashes.
