Four days after the finish of the Tour de France, on Thursday July 27th, the organisers were informed that the doping test results for Floyd Landis were positive. The results of the test conducted on the American rider of the Phonak team at the finish of the stage in Morzine on July 20th revealed abnormal levels of testosterone in his urine sample. The results of the ‘B’ analysis, revealed on August 5th, were consistent with the findings of the ‘A’ sample. _ _ The UCI (International Cycling Union) will determine the disciplinary action to be taken against this rider.
