The Tour de France encourages its spectators to travel green

The Tour de France takes to the roads-by bike… and by train! To get to the stages of the Tour de France, spectators can count on simple, affordable, and eco-friendly options thanks to the various initiatives put in place across the region. Biking, taking the train, or carpooling, these are all ways to promote more sustainable mobility.

COME BY BIKE: FREE, SECURED BIKE PARKING AT THE STAGE STARTS

At the start of each stage, spectators can take advantage of completely free, secured bike parking!

Nearby, the FDJ United and Shimano Recycling Workshop truck will be stationed next to the bike parking areas to offer a free bike tune-up service.

Reservations can be made online now using the interactive map here.

TRAVELING BY TRAIN: A CONVENIENT AND AFFORDABLE OPTION

With TER service options, the train is a simple way to reach the race in a more eco-friendly manner.

Please note: Bicycle transport requires a reservation on certain trains.
