Gap > Alpe d'Huez

The climb to Alpe d’Huez will be revealing its two sides for the first time, making it very possible that the deck could be reshuffled over these two days. The challenges set are quite different, with this first test featuring an ultra-dynamic route that may tempt some riders to go for broke on the ascent of the Col Bayard, then hold firm on the Col du Noyer and Col d’Ornon. After that, they’ll have to conquer the famous climb with its 21 hairpins. It’s some challenge for the ambitious.
