On Saturday, May 3rd, Malaucène hosted a memorable weekend all about cycling, to celebrate the first anniversary of the official TDF Ventoux Finisher store. To mark the occasion, a second store was inaugurated in Bédoin, on the other side of the legendary Mont Ventoux. The perfect opportunity for Santini and the TDF Club to organize an exclusive social ride, reserved for Club members and loyal store customers.
The route covered a demanding 60 km through the stunning landscapes of the Vaucluse — passing the Dentelles de Montmirail and picturesque hilltop villages like Le Barroux and Blauvac — before ending with a climb up the Col de la Madeleine. All in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere focused on sharing the ride… with even a cheeky attack from Pierre Rolland on the final slope, just to keep things real!

Rolland on the final slope, just to keep things real! Rolland was there, as promised, and took the time to chat and ride with participants. Even better: professional cyclist Clara Copponi (Lidl-Trek) made a surprise appearance, to the delight of the 50 riders.
From the morning coffee and croissants, to friendly stops along the way, a visit to the freshly inaugurated Bédoin store, and a buffet back in Malaucène — everything came together for a perfect day. A prize draw rewarded a few lucky participants with top-tier goodies: entries to L’Étape du Tour, a Lazer helmet, Oakley sunglasses, Santini kits… And to round off the weekend, the store unveiled a unique, special edition "Ventoux Finisher" bike.
An event full of passion, sport, and community spirit — everything we love about cycling.
