Since 2013, local authorities have been ale to host a weekend-long celebration of cycling.
In 2025, 41 communities from the Tour and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift took part in this celebration. In 2026, this festival will take place on May 30 and 31. In 2025, numerous events were organized, such as a cycling-themed escape game in Guéret, numerous cycle rides, and many other festivities.
Fête du Tour: Everyone on your bike!
- The 13th edition of the Fête du Tour celebrates cycling in all its forms, with a packed programme of events on the weekend of 24 and 25 May in the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stage towns.
- The initiative is part of the « Mai à vélo » campaign, in which numerous local communities promote cycling for daily transport and sport at all levels.
- The programme includes cyclosportive events, shows, screenings, conferences, rides, and road safety and bike maintenance workshops.
