Torstein Træen (Uno-X Mobility) experienced his first day wearing the Yellow Jersey. It was a relatively quiet day, despite a crash six kilometers from the finish.
"I don't know (what happened), there was a crash and I was there on the ground. But overall, it's going pretty well. It was a nice day, and I quite enjoyed it. We were able to have a bit of fun and have an easy day. For sure, tomorrow will be a hard day. You just have to hope and pray that you have good legs, and see how it goes."
On retaining the Yellow Jersey tomorrow: "We don't know. Tadej is Tadej, Jonas is Jonas. They're riding fast and going really well."
