"I knew it was going to be an easier day than the previous ones. I tried to enjoy it from start to finish. Many guys came to congratulate me on yesterday’s ride, and that was super nice. It was an amazing day in the white jersey and I’m looking forward to the next one.
The atmosphere in the team is super good. We managed to get two jerseys in one day yesterday, and thus we reached our goals. We now have to manage to bring Mads’ green jersey to Paris. As for me, I’ll try to fight and keep my white jersey for as long as possible. I know I can do good climbs. I can be confident on my climbing, as I put on a good performance on the climbs in the Tour de Suisse. Yet this is the Tour de France, and you never know what may happen. Tomorrow, I’ll try to follow the climbers and manage my pace up the Tourmalet. Just wearing the white jersey for a couple days is already a big success for us."
