"I scored more points than Jasper Philipsen and Biniam Girmay in the intermediate sprint and, with a hundred meters to go, I thought I was scoring more than them at the finish too - but they came back from behind and overtook me! It was a decent day after a couple of very hard ones. We raced in damage control mode.
I heard of the crashes, but I didn’t see them. From what I heard, everyone is okay, and that’s relieving.
As for tomorrow, I don’t know what the game plan is. It would be nice to claim 25 more points in the intermediate sprint, but we’ll see if that’s part of the team’s strategy for the day."
