GC duellists Primoz Roglic and Tadej Pogacar insisted atop the col de la Loze that the Tour is not over. In fact, stage 18 is likely to shake up the different rankings. In the following order, the peloton will head up to the Cormet de Roselend, then the Col des Saisies followed by Les Aravis and finally the Plateau des Glières, a key location of the French Resistance. At least, it’ll be the stage to determine the King of the Mountains. Pogacar is in the polka dot jersey but climbers who are no longer in contention for the yellow jersey will be eager to break away. The 1800 metres of non-asphalted road at Plateau des Glières promises a spectacular last Alpine stage.
