"I tried my best to follow the favorites in the first climb, but Tadej [Pogacar] was simply too strong and once I got dropped, I just focused on enjoying the moment and the occasion. I’m super happy with how the Tour panned out for us. I will definitely love to come back in the next few years. We’ll see what the course is like every year in order to decide when. It was really tough to claim this green jersey. It has been a goal all year long and a dream since I turned pro. It means a lot for me. It shows I’m getting better and also proves how good this team is and how much we work to achieve our objectives. It also brings a lot of confidence for the coming years."
