The next day, the course of the Tour de France will leave Vendée for a 35-km team time trial in Cholet. Finally, stage 4 will start from La Baule, whose famous beach last saw the multicoloured snake of the Grande Boucle in 1988. The peloton will spend 100-odd kilometres in the Pays de la Loire region and leave it after crossing Derval… The next destination will be kept under wraps until 17 October, when the 2018 Tour de France will be presented at the Palais des Congrès de Paris.
