For the first time in a while the temperature for the final stage of the Tour de France will actually decrease as the peloton edges ever closer to the finish. It was around 33 degrees Celsius earlier today and there are bright blue skies above the peloton even though the riders are weaving through the gorgeous gardens in Versailles often under the shade of trees.
The finish of the stage is expected to be at around 9.45pm on this history night-time arrival in Paris.
