Three out of three for Sky

After the prologue in Liège and the finish on the hill in Seraing, Sky Procycling won its third consecutive stage in the team classification. Of course there was the victory by Mark Cavendish but they also had two others in the top 20 even if ‘Cav’ had told his support crew he could do the sprint on his own. Bernhard Eisel and Edvald Boasson Hagen were 18th and 19th, respectively. This time, the British team finished ahead of Rabobank and Lotto-Belisol and, for the third straight day, they have earned the right to wear the yellow helmets that distinguish the riders who are part of the team that leads the team classification. As is generally the case for sprint stages, there was little change to the rankings after stage two.
