It's half way into the stage! The second half is mountainous, starting now with the col des Ares. It's the 40th time for the Tour de France to climb to col des Ares, the first one going as far back as in 1910, the first time the race tackled the Pyrenees. The last three times (2010, 2012, 2014), Thomas Voeckler was first at col des Ares but today, he's mostly in the last position of the peloton as he's taking part in his last race ever. He'll call it a career on July 23 in Paris.
