Romain Bardet (AG2R-La Mondiale): "At a chicane, the peloton braked suddenly and I was taken by the riders behind me. Normally, I'm alright. I hope to spend a good night. The main thing is that I managed to make it back on my bike surrounded by my team-mates and finish in the same time. A crash is never good news but it could have been worse. I have pains but it's normal when you crash at 50 kph. The Tour is only just starting. The good days are ahead and the morale is high."
