“Today I had to race at the front to avoid problems as much as possible. I slipped on a painting in the middle of the road and I crashed. Luckily, there wasn't much damage but in such a stage, it's better to have extraordinary team-mates. They've accompanied me till the end. I finished with Geraint Thomas' bike. It demonstrates that the Tour isn't over until we cross the line in Paris. Tomorrow will be hard but it's the last effort.”
