In Le Mans, the TDF Club wraps up its French Social Ride season in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles

Last Saturday, the TDF Club welcomed its members to Le Mans for the seventh and final Social Ride of the season in France. One last ride on French roads before the grand finale in Barcelona on July 2.

For this Sarthe-based edition, participants gathered at Cyclebox Le Mans, an Official Tour de France Store for the past four years and the starting point of this new cycling adventure. After enjoying refreshments provided by the store, the 30 riders set off for a day dedicated to sharing, discovery, and a passion for cycling.

To support the event, the TDF Club could once again count on Santini, Official Tour de France apparel partner, which was almost riding on home roads, with its French headquarters located in the Sarthe region. A loyal partner throughout the Social Ride season, Santini once again mobilized its team to help make the day a success.

Guest of honour for this Le Mans edition, Sylvain Chavanel rode alongside Club members throughout the day and took the time to chat with participants along the route. It was a unique opportunity to ride with one of French cycling’s most popular figures in the friendly and accessible atmosphere that defines TDF Club Social Rides.

The day's route featured 115 kilometres and more than 1,300 metres of elevation gain across some of the most beautiful roads in northern Sarthe.

The group quickly headed into the rolling landscapes of the Alpes Mancelles, a true playground for cycling enthusiasts. Between challenging climbs, winding roads, and stunning green scenery, participants discovered the full beauty of this preserved region.

One of the highlights of the ride was the passage through Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, officially listed among France’s most beautiful villages. Its postcard-worthy setting provided a memorable moment and added to the charm of the day.

Throughout the ride, Marie Greneche captured the best moments of this collective adventure, preserving the smiles, efforts, and landscapes that defined this Le Mans edition.

Back in Le Mans, Sylvain Chavanel took part in the traditional prize draw to reward several Club members. Four lucky winners went home with a Tour de France edition pair of Oakley sunglasses, a Santini jersey, and two Golden Tickets offering the exceptional opportunity to experience a Tour de France stage as VIP guests alongside Santini.

A final touch of magic to close the seventh French Social Ride of the season before the final event in Barcelona, which will bring the 2026 TDF Club Social Ride series to a close.
