WORLD BICYCLE DAY

Key points : The commitments of the Tour de France are based on two main pillars: positive impact and eco-responsibility.

  • With its "L'Avenir à Vélo" initiative, the Tour de France wants to inspire all those who can to make cycling part of their daily lives by making concrete commitments: encouraging and promoting cycling policies, supporting learning, and demonstrating solidarity with the disadvantaged.
  • The Tour de France has been committed to limiting its impact for more than 10 years, and it relies on the "Charter of 15 eco-responsible commitments" established under the aegis of the Ministry of Sports and WWF France with the aim of achieving social and environmental objectives (sustainable mobility, natural heritage, carbon approach, responsible nutrition, responsible purchasing, etc.).
  • The partners are committed alongside the Tour de France in order to form together a responsible caravan of solidarity.
