“When I went on stage, the podium girls said ‘hello again!' I said ‘no it's someone different' [his twin brother who was the best young rider last year]. I'm happy to be in the jersey and I'll try to keep it as long as possible. I wanted the stage as well. When you have good legs you want to do the best possible ride. I didn't win the stage but Fabio [Aru] was at another level today. I was nowhere near catching him anyway when I tried to bridge. I'm happy with my ride.”
