“It's incredible to be in the yellow jersey again. The race is far from over. The organizers have wanted a more open race and it's the case. Today's stage gives a glimpse of where everyone is at in terms of form. When I made my move, Porte, Bardet and Martin followed me, Aru was at the front, so it's also an indication of his form. He chose the right moment to attack before the last kick. Maybe we let him too much space. It's been a fantastic Tour for Team Sky so far. We were six in the finale. No other team had this number and it gives me confidence for the days to come. We've had the yellow jersey since day 1 but I don't see the race as something we control every day. Today BMC did it.
