Geniez, from the Aveyron like Trousselier and Garrigou

Today's enfant du pays Alexandre Geniez who hasn't missed the early breakaway is only the eleventh Tour de France contender hailing from the Aveyron province where the last 50km of the race will take place. But two of the first ones were super stars of the very early days of the event: Louis Trousselier, Tour de France in 1905, and Gustave Garrigou, Tour de France winner in 1911. The eight others were: François Marcastel (in 1904), Louis Di Mana (in 1908 and 1909), Jules Merviel (in 1929, 1930 and 1935), Honoré Granier (1935), Daniel Orts (in 1948), Claude Colette (five times from 1953 to 1960), Manuel Busto (six times from 1952 to 1962) and Philippe Louviot (six times from 1989 to 1994).
