"I went just for the fun of it and then with a bit of experience I managed to make it in the break. But my legs were heavy from yesterday's breakaway. Tomorrow will be a very hard stage but I will try my best. Now that I have the polka-dot jersey, I'll do everything I can to keep it. It's like a childhood dream come true. Even if I lose it, it will go to a great champion, so that's fine."
