Antargaz, Sponsor of the Paris-Nice stage winner

Antargaz

Antargaz, official sponsor of the Tour de France, is happy to become a Paris-Nice sponsor.

Antargaz's local presence makes it a natural Paris-Nice sponsor: all the towns the race passes through are the company's current or potential clients. The opening up of the natural gas market gives Antargaz an opportunity to bring gas through its network to hundreds of towns Paris-Nice will cross in 2009.

Antargaz, which has been active in France for over 70 years, is a subsidiary of UGI, the world's fourth leading propane and butane distribution group.

Antargaz, much more than energy.

Éco-Emballages, environment sponsor and sponsor of the Paris-Nice Green Jersey

Éco-Emballages

Eco-Emballages, which companies and government officials set up in 1992 as part of manufacturers' broader responsibilities, organises and supports the sorting, collecting and recycling of discarded household packaging materials.

Today, thanks to the shared commitment of businesses, towns, citizens and recycling professionals, over 60% of household packaging materials are recycled in France. Eco-Emballages' main missions are to work with companies on reducing packaging, designing more ecological packaging, funding selective collecting and helping to make it more effective, informing the general public and promoting the recycling of packaging materials.

Eco-Emballages is a government-approved ecological organisation to which 50,000 companies contribute funding (approximately 0.6 euro cent per package). Over 90% is ploughed back into towns to help them pay for selective collecting. The Green Dot symbolising that commitment is on 95% of consumer products.

AG2R La Mondiale

In 2008 Ag2r La Mondiale became a major health, life, casualty and asset insurance player in France. The company's commitment to cycling has given it an outstanding opportunity to combine visibility and values.

In 2008 Ag2r La Mondiale was successful as an official sponsor of the Tour de France and all the races organised by A.S.O. before deciding to breathe new life into the dynamic, effective collaboration that has been under way with AG2R Prévoyance since 2003.

The goals of that commitment are to give the group a dynamic image and make its values and offer better known in the areas of retirement, savings and all the health and casualty insurance products that contribute to individual well-being.

The sponsorship is shown by putting the Ag2r La Mondiale logo on the three "information" motorcycles, which send out sports news, and the three "regulating" motorcycles, which regulate vehicular traffic, at the Tour de France and all the season's other major races A.S.O. organises.
