The Tour de Picardie, whose General Council is a major partner, will cross first the east and then the north of the department (Attichy, Ribécourt, Lassigny, Clermont, Feuquières, Grandvilliers…) on the 14 and 15 May. This cycling event, a sort of preparation for the Tour de France, has earned its reputation through the quality of riders involved, the courses chosen, the areas its crosses and its professional organisation.


On this occasion, Oise offers the many riches of its regions for privileged discovery the many riches of its regions: Picardie Verte, the Clermontois, the Compiégnois and the Noyonnais. Oise is also:
    • One of the youngest departments in France,
    • With an internationally recognised history (Chantilly, Senlis, Compiègne, Beauvais, Pierrefonds, Noyon…),
    • A protected, well-developed and culturally diverse architectural heritage,
    • A protected environment (Natural Regional Park, forests, ponds and rivers),
    • Broadly diverse offer in terms of tourism (35 museums and châteaux, 7 theme parks (Astérix, La Mer de Sable…),
