Arnaud Demare : « It's a little difficult »

interview10.07.2014Stage 6- Arras / Reims

French champion Arnaud Demare crashed like many other riders today and finished 4 :51 behind the day's winner.

« I really don't have any luck for the moment. It's more important for Thibaut than for me. I crashed and I'm a little bit broken all over. I was dropped in a group and I still saw Thibaut ahead with many other riders. It's a shame. It's obviosuly not easy. For the time being, cycling has always been good to me. In the last six days it's been more difficult. My third place was a little light in the gloom in the last few days. »

Vincenzo Nibali retained the lead on another rained soaked day with echelons on the roads chosen to remember World War I in the presence of the French president François Hollande.
