The team classification is one of the most exciting competitions in the Tour de France of 2013. With one mountain stage to go, we still don't know the winner. RadioShack-Leopard, was in the third 12'29” behind the leader, Team Saxo-Tinkoff, at the start of the 19th stage in Bourg d'Oisans and it rose up to the runner-up spot at only 3'39”.

The presence at the front of the race of two representatives, Andreas Klöden and Jan Bakelants, second and third in Le Grand Bornand, helped their squad enormously.

Team Saxo-Tinkoff was steadfast at the head of the yellow jersey group, and John Gadret out of the pack in the final climb of the day, to keep AG2R La Mondiale in the top three. Rarely have we seen so many motivated teams for this classification at this stage of the competition.
