Omega Pharma-Quickstep picked up its third win in four days and Michel Kwiatkowksi continues to lead the youth classification but he confessed that tomorrow might be his last day in the white jersey. Before he considers Mont Ventoux, however, he's happy to celebrate the victory of his team-mate Matteo Trentin.

“I'm seventh now on GC so I'm really happy but as a team we've done everything as we should. We had some bad luck but if you look at the bigger picture now our whole Tour has been a success. We've won four stages. Of course yesterday was The Epic stage and we were happy about it but today even more because Matteo is such a great guy and he won from a breakaway so it's an amazing day for us.

“Matteo and I are almost the same age, he's one year older but we know each other well and he's a really friendly guy and I'm really happy about his win.

“About Ventoux... I know Sylwester Szmyd won there one time during the [Critérium du] Dauphiné. What else can I say about it? I'll try and stay with the best but it's such a legendary mountain that I'm a little bit scared about it but we'll see how I can go...”
