The 100th Tour de France will start with a first time visit to Corsica, during which the riders will do battle over three stages, before re-joining the French mainland at Nice. The rest of the route will be unveiled on 24th October in front of almost 4,000 spectators at the Paris Palais des Congrès convention centre, as well as tens of thousands of visitors to letour.fr.

The first major date in the diary for Le Tour 2013 is approaching, with the unveiling of its sporting content in two weeks' time. For the last few weeks, debate has raged about the number of countries visited, the amount of summit finishes or the mileage of the time-trials. With the presentation of the route, the spectators and riders of the Tour de France will be able to look forwards to next July, imagine the race scenarios and start making plans. The battle to win the “hundredth” Yellow Jersey is already attracting all the attention. On the official web site, letour.fr, the presentation of the Tour de France 2013 will be broadcast live from 11.30 AM. Last year, almost 150,000 visitors took advantage of the streamed video to discover the details of the route. The invititation is also open to the viewers of Eurosport France and Eurosport International, who will be able to watch the entire ceremony.
