The route 2008

The route

Running from Friday September 5^th to Sunday September 14^th 2008, the 45^th Tour de l’Avenir will be made up of 1 prologue and 9 stages and will cover a total distance of 1,380 kilometres.

Format

• 19 teams of 6 riders,
• Riders must be under 23 years of age: aged between 19 and 22,
• The race is one of the 7 events in the UCI under 23 Nations’ Cup.

It is at the end of the Tour de l’Avenir that the trophy will be awarded, won in 2007 by Slovenia.
