Special rules

Article 1.

The AMAURY SPORT ORGANISATION (A.S.O.) is organising the 66th PARIS-TOURS “Espoirs”, class ME 1.2. (U 23), an international in-line cycling event, under the aegis of the “TDF Sport Club”. It will take place on Sunday, 12 October 2008.


Article 2.

The event is open to national selections, national structures (clubs), regional selections and DN and DN “Espoirs” clubs according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (U.C.I.) and the French Cycling Federation (Fédération Française de Cyclisme) (F.F.C.). Each team is made up of six riders at the most.


Article 3.

The bibs and number plate for the bicycle frame will be given to each team manager upon presentation of membership cards to the start staff HQ:


Saturday 11 October: 4:30 to 7pm
Sunday 12 October: from 8:15am.

The team managers meeting is scheduled for Sunday 12 October at 9:30am at the staff HQ.


Article 4.

Feeding is planned. It must take place in the zone delimited by the organisation.


Article 5.

The organisation will broadcast race information on the 151.775 Mhz frequency.


Article 6. Finish time limits

All riders not finishing within a 5% time limit of the winner's time will be excluded from the classification.


Article 7. Official ceremony

The event’s three leading finishers must be present at the official ceremony.

Article 9.

The fact of participating implies that each rider has read the present rules and agrees to all the clauses. For cases not foreseen in the present rules, a request for arbitration may be filed with the Members of the Jury of Stewards in the framework of the U.C.I.'s and F.F.C.'s general rules.
