Special rules


ARTICLE 1. Organisation
The 105th PARIS - ROUBAIX is organised by TDF Sport and Amaury Sport Organisation according to the rules of the International Cycling Union (UCI) and the French Cycling Federation. This year's event will be held on Sunday 15 April 2007.

ARTICLE 2. Participation
The race is open to sporting groups and the number of riders per team is minimum 5 and maximum 8.

ARTICLE 3. Administration
An administration office is open on Saturday 14 April from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at:

The team leaders must confirm their teams and collect their numbers from 2:30-4:45 p.m. on Saturday 14 April.
The meeting of Sports Directors, organised in compliance with article 1.2.087 of the UCI, in the presence of the members of the college of commissioners, is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the administration office.

ARTICLE 4. Radio-Tour
Race information and coverage is broadcast on 169.425 MHZ.

ARTICLE 5. Neutral technical assistance
The neutral technical assistance service is provided by MAVIC.
The service fleet includes 4 motorbikes and 4 technical cars.

ARTICLE 6. Finishing times
Any rider whose finishing time exceeds 5% of the winning time is not ranked. This limit can be extended in exceptional circumstances by a joint decision of the college of commissioners and the organisers.

ARTICLE 7. Ranking
The individual time ranking will be established according to the order in which the riders cross the finishing line.

The prizes distributed for the event come to a total value of € 91,000

ARTICLE 9. Anti-doping
The UCI anti-doping rule applies in full to the Paris-Roubaix race. French anti-doping legislation also applies according the dispositions of French law.
The anti-doping tests are held in the organisers' caravan, located near the changing rooms.

ARTICLE 10. Protocol
In compliance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rule, the following riders should present themselves for the protocol:

They should present themselves a maximum of 5 minutes after finishing.

ARTICLE 11. Penalties
The scale of penalties set by the UCI is the only applicable scale.
