A subsidiary of the SHV Gas group, Primagaz was the first private company to obtain the status of public operator in 2003 to distribute gas in a network to subdivisions and communes in France.
The same year, Primagaz was a pioneer in its sector by initiating an energy consultation approach to help consumers control their energy consumption. Thanks to personnel training, the development of specific tools for its employees and its professional partners, Primagaz has opted for transparency and consumer recommendations.
In 2006, Primagaz entered a new phase of energy consulting when it launched “Natural Energy Consulting”, which meets three major consumer needs: preserve their comfort, decrease their energy bills and protect the earth.
Two specific offers accompany this approach.
The home construction offer is Primasoleil, an option that combines solar energy with propane gas to generate up to 70% savings in hot water production costs. The home renovation option is Renov'au gaz®, which makes it possible to recommend a turn-key renovation solution for propane-fueled central heating that optimized user comfort and budget.
