THE NORD - PAS DE CALAIS REGION
Our region is proud of its traditions:
UNESCO listed world heritage Giants and belfries, Towns of Art and History, festivals and carnivals
For the Nord - Pas de Calais region, supporting Paris-Roubaix means preserving a popular heritage.
Our region is the homeland of many cycling races and of great cyclists such as Cédric Vasseur, Arnaud Tournant, Laurent Thirionet, Jean-Marie Leblanc and Jean Stablinski.
For the Nord - Pas de Calais region, supporting Paris-Roubaix means showing your enthusiasm for sport in general and for cycling in particular.
And today the Nord - Pas de Calais region is much more than that
It can also boast the youngest population in France, three regional natural parks, six competitive centres of economic excellence (one with global status), and many large international companies in industry and distribution. The region is synonymous with innovation in terms of urban regeneration and with solidarity and sustainable development. It is a dynamic cultural melting pot which will soon be further strengthened by the arrival of the Louvre Lens Art Gallery
For the Nord - Pas de Calais region, supporting Paris-Roubaix means promoting different outlooks, different assets, different colours… the chance to prove, in the name of its four million inhabitants, that:
“Nord - Pas de Calais is a great place to be!”
