La Châtaigneraie

Having joined forces, the 19 hamlets comprising the La Châtaigneraie syndicate represent nearly 16,000 people. In this marshy countryside, cattle and agriculture have long been established. With the development of industrial and manufacturing activities, small businesses have joined forces by creating the “Antigny Entreprises”, a group of over 45 businesses of more than ten employees. Greatly attached to its past and values, La Châtaigneraie prides itself in bringing true quality of life to its inhabitants, with job opportunities and full conveniences, as well as sports and leisure. Numerous historical sites can be enjoyed in this preserved area, while hiking on one of the many paths.
