Cherished by the people of Toulouse who love its ski slopes through pine forests as well as its breathtaking mountain landscapes, “Ax 3 Domaines” is the largest of the four resorts in Ax Valleys. In addition to alpine skiing (Ax 3 Domaines and Ascou-Pailhères) and Nordic skiing (Beille Plateau, Chioula Domain) the area provides tourists with a true insight into its Pyrenean roots. The call of the Mountains will lead you to Orlu’s National Wildlife Reservation. Traces of the Romanesque and Cathar heritage can be seen in the local architecture. Thermal spas and casinos are also a feature of this region, as well as mountain agriculture with its share of tasteful produce.
