Grenoble, capital of the Dauphiné, lies in the heart of the Alps. In terms of sports activities; Grenoble is home to 130 sites and locations which are used all year round by almost 2,300,000 visitors. By supporting and developing activities, clubs and initiatives and through investment in new facilities, the City has opted to put sport at the centre of its social policy in order to provide a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle - one which encourages cooperation, integration and socialisation.
