He is likely to overtake Pierre Rolland (EUC) on the overall classification today as he only has to make up 43”. But the next rider ahead of him, Haimar Zubeldia (RNT) is also strong in time trials so making up the deficit of 49” that he is behind the Spaniard who is ranked seventh is going to be a difficult task.
