"Today we did a great race. We wanted the green jersey, we wanted Peter on the top, and we portrayed it with our performance. The way we rode will add to our morale. We knew the stage and because of that we pulled to drop the sprinters. We got that right, and the intermediate sprint too, but then we lost a chunk of points in the final sprint due to bad luck. Of course it was disappointing not to win the stage."
