I was right with Tom Dumoulin when it all happened. The descent to Mûr-de-Bretagne was super hectic and Tom touched someone with his front wheel, and he broke some spokes. I immediately communicated it to the team car and waited to help him up the climb. It might have been a better decision to change bike than to change wheels. But, you know, in the heat of the moment one just takes decisions that might not be the best ones. It’s crazy I keep the white jersey. I was expecting to lose it to someone. It is a nice feeling, but overall I don’t feel that great because of what happened to Tom.
