“I'm pretty happy. I had much better legs than yesterday. I didn't lose that much time. I'm more confident after today. There are still some hard stages to go. We'll see how the TT goes too. I'm excited about the TT. I like TTs. I'm in a good position for the white jersey but we still need to be careful.”

    Warren Barguil claimed his second stage victory and the fifth for French riders at col d'Izoard (2360m) after passing Darwin Atapuma on Colombia's national day. Chris Froome retained the yellow jersey albeit losing four seconds onto Romain Bardet who is again the runner up.
