RadioShack-Leopard: specialists!

The defending champions in the team classification, RadioShack-Leopard, have twice won this prize at the Tour de France (2012 and also 2010). Two out of three... ain't bad! The victory in the stage by Jan Bakelants in Ajaccio gave his team the victory for the stage but also moved it up to the lead in the general classification. There are advantages of being ranked high in this category as the order of departure for the team time trial on Tuesday is determined by this; only the yellow jersey's team – which start last – is not in dictated by the this prize category.
There are, in fact, 17 teams that are only one-second behind RadioShack-Leopard after a combined distance covered (for three men from each formation) of 1,107km.
John Lelangue of BMC has made no secret that his goal in the Corsican stages was to place his team at the top of the standings so that they can benefit from the time checks of teams that start before them in Nice. But his team is ranked fifth after today's race so it will be necessary to change the order during the third stage from Ajaccio to Calvi if he's to get his wish.
