It's party time for the French team that has been a regular at the Tour since it was established in 1997. FDJ-BigMat's Marc Madiot is relishing one of his best performances in the race thanks largely to the revelation of Thibaut Pinot who won stage eight in Porrentruy, and now Pierrick Fedrigo delivered a second stage victory for the team in Pau. With it comes with a stage victory for the team as it finished ahead of Garmin-Sharp, albeit with the same time.
RadioShack-Nissan, still leads the overall standings at the start of the last week, but it had no rider in the escape of stage 15 – and it didn't know to either. It is already well clear of the next best squad, Sky Procycling, that is 12'38” behind in the general classification.
