The route

Running from Saturday September 5th to Sunday September 12th 2010, the 47th Tour de l’Avenir will be made up of 1 prologue and 8 stages and will cover a total distance of 1,011 kilometres.

Format

  • 20 national teams of 6 riders,
  • Riders must be under 23 years of age: aged between 19 and 22,
  • The race is one of the 7 events in the UCI under 23 Nations’ Cup.

The UCI Nations' Cup, won by France in 2009, will be awarded at the end of the Tour de l'Avenir.
