The needles of BavellaCaroline Orsetti (General Council of Southern Corsica)
The General Council of Southern Corsica is pleased to make its contribution to the 79th edition of the Critérium International.
The General Council of Southern Corsica is responsible for the upkeep and modernisation of the roads, in both the towns and mountains, on which the riders will put on a splendid show. Alongside the mountains and Mediterranean Sea, from the east to the west coast, sit such towns as Solenzara, Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Figari, Sartène, Propriano, Olmeto and Ajaccio, as well as majestic sites to visit and admire: the coves at Piana, the needles of Bavella, the marina in Porto and the village of Porto-Otta, the Gulf of Ajaccio, the gulf of Valinco, Propriano and Campomoro, the cliffs of Bonifacio, the bay of Rondinara and the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio amongst others.
I would like to express my thanks to A.S.O. as well as all the institutions and volunteers who are taking part in promoting, through the Critérium International, our department of Southern Corsica.
