Special rules

Article 1. Organisation

The 67th PARIS-TOURS Espoirs race, class ME 1.2. (U 23), an international in-line cycling event, is organised by AMAURY SPORT ORGANISATION (A.S.O.) under the aegis of the "TDF Sport Club". It will take place on Sunday 11th October 2009.

 

Article 2. Participation

The event is open to national teams, national organisations (clubs), regional teams as well as DN and DN "Espoirs" clubs in accordance with the rules and regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI) and the French Federation of Cycling (FFC). Participation is limited to 25 teams with no more than 6 riders each.

 

Article 3. Race HQ

The number bibs and frame numbers are given to each team manager upon presentation of the competitors membership cards to the race HQ staff at:

Saturday 10th October: from 16:30 to 19.00
Sunday 11th October: from 8.30.

The team managers' meeting is scheduled for Sunday 11th October at 9:30am at the race HQ.

 

Article 4. Feeding stations

Refreshments can be distributed to riders. This must take place within the feeding stations designated by the organisers.

 

Article 5. Tour radio

The organisers will broadcast race information on the 151.775 MHz frequency.

 

Article 6. Finishing cut-off times

All riders not finishing within a 5% time limit of the winner's time will be excluded from the final standings.

 

Article 7. Official ceremony

The riders who finish in first, second and third place must attend the official ceremony.

The race prize money is as follows:

Article 9. Arbitrage

The fact of participating implies that each rider has read these rules and regulations and hereby accepts all the clauses. For cases not provided for in these rules and regulations, a request for arbitration may be filed with the Members of the Jury of Stewards in the framework of the UCI's and FFC's general rules
