Located in the center of the Pyrenees, Bagnères de Luchon is both a reputed thermal spa (water rich in sodium sulfate) and a winter and summer resort.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, many famous people frequented the spa for its waters.
Nowadays, it’s sports teams that come to Luchon for conditioning sessions, the likes of Barcelona Football Club, Toulouse rugby club, the French synchronized swimming team, the Levalois-Perret Judo club or the National Police rugby team, in search of a breath of fresh air on the slopes of Superbagnères and Peyragudes in winter and summer alike.
