Stop over towns

Mont-Saint-Martin

From the top of the mountain, the 11th century Romanesque church provides a view over three of the four areas in the city (the old market town, the vale; meeting place for public and private, and the rural outskirts of Piedmont).
The view also takes in the plains and the Belgian and Luxembourg hillsides. The junctions of the roads A31, A30 and E44 which ring the city generate a heavy flow of transportation vehicles, linking Benelux and the Scandinavian countries with southern European countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy) via the Rhône corridor.
Other major shipment projects (roads, iron) are also being researched by the European Development Pole (PED), in which Mont-Saint-Martin plays an important strategic role.

Moyeuvre-Grande

The Conroy stream and Orne river cross through Moyeuvre-Grande, which lies at the heart of the Orne Valley.
Surrounded by wonderful forests (394 hectares), there are remarkable views from Moyeuvre-Grande, from the Tréhémont and Froidcul plateaus.
Former fiefdom of the Duchy of Bar, for a long time the wealth of this industrial city came from iron mining and modifying "Minette" (iron mineral). Today it has reintroduced various activities, the commitment and resoluteness of its elected members as well as the quality of its associative structure make Moyeuvre-Grande a town that is facing the future and its younger generation; a town which aims to contribute to the quality of life of its 9,083 residents.
