Stop over towns

Liège

For almost three decades, the Province of Liège has developed a dynamic sports policy “for all sports and athletes”. Known as being the “most sporting Province in Belgium”, the many large sporting events that take place in the region of Liège have helped to enhance its image and generate significant economic benefits. Among these events, the Province of Liège has the pleasure of playing host to the annual international cycling pack for the Belgian Ardennes Classics. It has also played host to the Tour de France on several occasions and, this year, will provide the setting for the departure of the 2006 Giro d’Italia.
