The manufacturing process in accordance with the ISO 22000 standard comes from a traditional method using high quality fresh and natural raw materials (full-cream milk, Emmenthal, tomato pulp, durum wheat flour, and whole eggs). Farniente currently employs 40 people with a production of 50 tonnes a week. Following work in 2005 and 2006, production capacity has increased to 90 tonnes a week.
