Established in 1991, the Farniente company manufactures fresh lasagna to be eaten within 21 days.

The manufacturing process in accordance with the ISO 22000 standard comes from a traditional method using high quality fresh and natural raw materials (full-cream milk, Emmenthal, tomato pulp, durum wheat flour, and whole eggs). Farniente currently employs 40 people with a production of 50 tonnes a week. Following work in 2005 and 2006, production capacity has increased to 90 tonnes a week. In order to continue to meet the needs of our clientele as best we can and comply with the new ISO 2200 standards, we have made a €2,500,000 investment in equipment for production, administration and materials (detector of foreign bodies, X-ray, weight sorter, labeling and traceability).
